Studio Table, collaboration of artists, sharing their work spaces. Hosted by Seth Apter of The Altered Page. |
I have two studio tables that I work on:
My regular, everyday table
Currently, I'm working on a digital illustration. This is my laptop and Wacom graphics tablet. I guess I could clear off everything else but when the inspiration flows, I just go with it! |
And my sewing table
Curious to see other artists at work? Be sure to check theirs out, too!
Visit Seth Apter's blog for the list...it'll take more than one sitting to get through it.
(I heard there are 100+ artists sharing their studio table.)
I'll be showing my new illustration tomorrow, so please come back to see it!
It's always so much fun to see other people's creative spaces!
ReplyDeleteI especially like to see them while the space is in use. The clean and tidy ones make me feel sad. I don't know if I feel sad for the space/unused materials or for my stuff, which is constant state of disarray.
Yours is rather neat. Very cool that you also have a sewing table!
Yes, Kathi, I also love seeing other people's creative spaces! Clean or messy- I think it's kind of mysterious and offers a different perspective on how that artist prefers to work.
ReplyDeleteMy space doesn't always stay neat, though. It just so happens to be this way since I'm working digitally and at the stage of combining several drawings/doodles into a final image. (Quite different than working traditionally, where bits and pieces can be spread out, physically!)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
