I've taken three, very different stencils to create this portrait:

StencilGirl Stencils: Arani, Goddess of Fire; Deconstructed Floral Bouquet; Rose Window and Border

This portrait looks complex but my tip is to always start out simple...like this:

Oh look! Modeling paste!
